CLASS OPTIONS

Build Your Own Board

This class is hands-on and will give each participant the opportunity to make and take a charcuterie board home filled with gourmet meats, cheeses, fruits and nuts that feeds 3-4 people. Students will also take home a shopping list and pairings list for each cheese.

Cost: $85 per person, 5-person class minimum. I will limit the class size to 12 people to ensure each student gets the amount of instruction they deserve for this class.

Transparency: Roughly 40% of each student payment covers the ingredients on their board, 60% will go towards my fundraising goal.

Group Build Party

This class offers more of an instructional approach to assembling a large board for the group as a whole. I will show each of the participants techniques for styling the cheeses and meats, and the class participants will work together to build a board to graze on at the end of class. Students will go home with a full belly, a shopping list for future builds, and a pairings list for each of the cheeses we sampled in class.

Cost: $275 total, 8-person maximum.

Transparency: Roughly 30% of the total payment covers the cost of the product on the board, 70% will go towards my fundraising goal.

School Tuition for a 9th grader named Phelisthe, who is the daughter of a woman receiving services from Amani Ya Juu
